Egypt and Saudi Arabia sign contracts for the $1.8 billion electrical interconnection project

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy, said on this occasion that reaching this important stage of this project is the culmination of the directives of the leaderships of the two brotherly countries represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his brother, His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi - may God protect them - which stipulate strengthening strong brotherly ties. Which brings them together and consolidates the ancient and distinguished relations between them and achieves the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, and in implementation of the memorandum of understanding in the field of electrical interconnection between the two countries, which was signed in the presence of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Excellency the President, may God preserve them, within a package of economic, development and political agreements between the two countries, and His Highness the Minister of Energy that
